Details
The entry-level Spanish red wine of Celler Sanmartí, Saltamarges is made solely from Grenache.
Sourced from organically farmed vineyards located in DO Pla de Bages, the grapes were hand picked, selected on site, refrigerated on arriving at the cellar, destemmed and selected again.
Then they were fermented in tiled diposits, after which this red wine from Pla de Bages was macerated for 15 days with the skins of some late-harvested grapes in order to bring more body and colour to the wine.
Finally, Saltamarges 2020 was clarified, stabilized and gently filtered.
