Details

One of Champagne's most legendary names, Dom Pérignon Vintage is produced by Moët & Chandon only in exceptional vintages.

This one-of-a-kind vintage Champagne is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, selected among over 1,000 hectares of vineyards which include some of the best crus of the region.

Traditionally vinified, a portion of the Pinot Noir grapes were vinified as if to produce a red wine. Once both fermentations were completed, Dom Pérignon 2010 was aged for 96 months in the cellar.

This is one of the world's best Champagnes.

Appearance

The Champagne Brut Dom Pérignon has a nice pale yellow colour with some golden tinges.

Nose

Marvelously refined, this blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has an enchanting aromatic purity. Ripe white fruit, flowers, freshly cut hay, slowly evolving into fine lees, custard and raw almonds. There is a subtle background of menthol, citrus and licorice.

Palate

Precise, focused and amazingly smooth, the palate of this Brut Champagne leaves one speechless. Bubbles are extremely gentle, and acidity is both fresh and perfectly integrated. Extremely rich and complex, really kaleidoscopic, this Champagne of Maison Moet Chandon has a long finish reminiscent of dry fruit, candied fruit and French patisserie.

Our personal opinion

Elegant, complex, regal, Dom Pérignon 2010 is an unforgettable Champagne.
