Details
The interesting Dominio de Tares Godello is produced from the few hectares of Godello vineyards that bodega Dominio de Tares has in San Román de Bembibre, a village of DO Bierzo.
This varietal Spanish white wine is made from vines around 20 years of age, grown in clay-limestone and slate soils at altitudes between 400 and 900 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand in little boxes, the selected grapes were fermented for a couple of months in French oak barrels. After that, this white wine from El Bierzo was aged in the barrels for 3 months and racked once during the process.
Finally, Dominio de Tares Godello 2022 was bottled after a gentle filtration.
We suggest drinking this white wine fermeted in oak at a temperature of 10-12ºC.
Pair with baked fish dishes and roast pig recipes.

This wine has a superb texture. The palate is complex, with quince, lime, almonds and a sort of stony-earthy feel. Very good!!
