The grapes were sorted from 42 hectares of vines, 25 years old on average, located at an altitude above 800 metres, between the villages of Quintana del Pidio and Gumiel de Mercado, in the heart of the DO Ribera del Duero. Soils are composed of clay and sand. Climate is Continental.
Selected and destemmed, the Tempranillo grapes were vinified in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days.
After completing malolactic fermentation, Ébano 6 2019 was aged in new French oak barrels for 4 months.
Finally, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for 2 months in the cellar.
The red wine Ébano 6 has an intense cherry colour with a purple rim.
This varietal Tinta del País smells of blueberries and damson, with subtle mineral notions, dim spicy remembrances and aromas of underbrush.
This wine of Ébano Bodegas y Viñedos is very fresh, with crunchy tannins and a lively acidity. Long finish with an afteraste of forest berries and spices.
