Product Description
The Scotch were pioneers in the art of distillation and the production of Gin since the ancient times, and most notably famous for their rosé gin. Thanks to the constant travels that these gins had between Scotland and London, new varieties of gins emerged as these ancient people realized and embraced their differences in Gin which resulted in this brilliant white spirit type of distillation that is still widely used today. The major differences that became incorporated between Scotch gin and gins from London were the usage of Juniper berries and other botanicals. This Scothish Gin, Edimburgh, is of a Premium class of gins and crafted with 8 well-known botanicals such as juniper berries, heather flower, and milk thistle (silybum marianum). These botanicals, among others, give this gin a unique Scottish character. There are also three secret ingredients that make this a more personable Gin. After five distillation processes we have a clean, fresh, and transparent Gin that is dry, aromatic, fruity, and spicy, with marked pine tree notes that are not over the top. Edimburgh Gin from Scottland was released into the market in 2010 by Spencerfield Spirits Co and it received a gold medal in the SIP (Spirits International Prestige) competition in this gin´s very first vintage.
