Product Description

This confidential and sought-after Spanish white wine is produced by Eduardo Peña, a small winery from Ribeiro, Galicia.

The main feature of Eduardo Peña is its composition. The wine is made solely from Galician native varieties, some of which were on the verge of extinction and have been fortunately recovered. The blend comprises TreixaduraAlbariñoGodelloLado and Loureira.

The grapes were hand harvested and meticulously selected. Then they were cold macerated for a few hours with dry ice and gently crushed.

After that, Eduardo Peña 2020 was transferred into Central European oak barrels, where it was fermented on lees. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve its crisp acidity.

The result is a truly singular white wine from Galicia.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The white wine Eduardo Peña is deep straw with some steely glints.

This blend of Treixadura, Albariño, Godello, Lado and Loureira exhibits some intense aromas of apples, plums, quince and white flowers. There are also hints of smoke, spices and yeasts, typical of a white wine fermented in oak, as well as citrus and laurel.

Nuanced and layered, this white wine from bodega Eduardo Peña has a smooth, silky palate, medium-bodied and very fresh. Excellent definition, electric acidity and long finish with a saline and mineral note.
