Product Description
Details

This interesting Spanish red wine from the DO Madrid was produced by the late Carlos Falcó, Marquis of Griñón and owner of the Marqués de Griñón winery.

A key figure in Spain's modern wine history, the producer of El Rincón was, among other things. a pioneer in the introduction of international grapes in Central Spain.

A original blend of Syrah and Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet), it was made from vines grown in decomposed granite soils at an altitude around 500 metres above sea level.

Harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed, gently macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature of 22ºC. After that, El Rincón 2015 was aged for 10 months in new and demi-new French oak barrels.

The wine was not filtered or clarified before its bottling, so it may present some sediment.

Sort of a rarity, this wine. Super juicy, with a mineral touch and little oak.
