Product Description

The exquisite Cava Elena de Mestres Gran Reserva Rosé is produced by Mestres, one of the oldest Spanish sparkling wine producers from Penedès, with a tradition going back to 1312.

A totally indigenous blend of Trepat, Grenache and Monastrell, this rosé Cava is produced from over 20-year-old vines. Interestingly, after completing alcoholic fermentation the base wine was aged for 4 months in oak barrels.

After that, this Brut Nature Gran Reserva rosé Cava was transferred into bottles. Then it completed secondary fermentation, after which this rosé sparkling wine was aged for 42 months.

The disgorging date of Elena de Mestres Gran Reserva Rosé 2017 is printed on the back label.

This sophisticated brut nature rosé sparkling wine is perfect for a romantic evening.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The cava Elena de Mestres Gran Reserva Rosé is high salmon with some steely glints.

This blend of Trepat, Grenache and Monastrell is very suggestive. Notes of red flowers and red berries, with a buttery note, and hints of fine lees, toast and bitter herbs.

Creamy, nuanced and textured, this rosé Cava of Mestres has some tiny bubbles and a lively acidity. Very long finish, with a delicately bitter note.

Lovely rosé
This is what some people call a "gastronomic wine": fruit-driven and fresh, with lots of food pairing possibilities.
