This is the new vintage of Emilio Moro, a classic Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero.
A varietal Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), it is produced from vines 15 to 25 years old planted in three types of soils.
Meticulously harvested and selected on site and in the cellar, the grapes were macerated with the skins for 15 days. Then Emilio Moro 2019 was fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which it was transferred into French and American oak barrels and aged for 12 months.
Aerate this red wine from Ribera del Duero 30 minutes before drinking.
This varietal Crianza red wine from the Emilio Moro winery nicely embodies the traditional style of the region.
The red wine Emilio Moro is medium violet with a purplish rim.
Elegant and expressive. A dash of mulberries and bilberries, typical of a Tinto Fino, alongisde remembrances of lavender, dry earth, tree bark, spices, balsam and toast.
Smooth and fresh, there are flavours of ripe red fruit, toast, cocoa, moka and underbush. This wine from the Emilio Moro winery is well-balanced, zippy and pleasant, with some ripe tannins, good grip and a long, palate-cleansing finish.

An excellent pairing for grilled meats, Emilio Moro 2019 is a textbook Crianza red wine from Ribera del Duero.
