Details
As one might guess, Enate Gewürztraminer is made from the grape variety named after the town of Tramin, South Tyrol, where it originated. The Enate winery, incidentally, was one of the first companies to produce a varietal Spanish white wine solely made from Gewürztraminer.
Perfectly adapted to the Aragonese region of Somontano, the Gewürztraminer vines are at an altitude over 400 metres above sea level. Climate is harsh, tempered only by some scarce breezes.
Handpicked at an optimal ripening state, the grapes were destemmed, slightly crushed and cold-soaked for 5 hours. Then they were fully crushed with a pneumatic press, after which Enate Gewürztraminer 2022 was drawn off and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
This varietal white wine from Somontano was clarified and filtered before its bottling.

Rhubarb, jasmine, honey, pollen... This is an exotic, unconventional white wine. Delicious.
