As Mediterranean as it gets, Es Vermut Terramoll is a limited-production white vermouth produced in the tiny Balearic island of Formentera.
Crafted by Bodega Terramoll, the base white wine was added wine must to add a sweet note. Then, the wine was macerated with a bunch of aromatic herbs, like wormwood, to add the bitter touch. Finally, this Spanish vermouth was added wine alcohol.
Amber-coloured, the white vermouth Es Vermut Terramoll is citrusy, herbal and spicy. The palate is fresh and agile, nicely balancing the bitter and sweet notes. Long finish.
This is an appealing white vermouth from Formentera.
