Red wine from Montsant. Carignan and Grenache aged for 12 months in oak.
Availability: In stock
After a traditional vinification, Ètnic 2016 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Prior to its release, this crianza red wine from Montsant was aged for 12 months in the bottle.
Decant 30 minutes before drinking. Drink until 2024.
The red wine Ètnic has a bright cherry colour with some violet glints.
Surprisingly seductive, this blend of Carignan & Grenache smells of jammy black fruit, combined with notes of balsam, moka, pepper, vanilla and cinnamon, echoed by some distant overtones of herbs and garrigue.
This Montsant red wine by Celler Masroig is smooth, intense and quite elegant. Texture is dense, but weightless, and the wine shows plenty of agility on the palate. Creamy, fruity and well-balanced, with an excellent acidity. Long finish with remembrances of fruit and earth.
|Our personal opinion||
As we've just said, Ètnic 2016 is a phenomenal value. A completely unpretentious wine that delivers great pleasure.
