Product Description

Figuero Tinus 2010 is the flagship wine of the Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero winery.

This exceptional red wine is produced from over 70-year-old, high-end Tempranillo vines coming from a single estate.

Located in one of the best terroirs of Ribera del Duero, the plants produce grapes of a truly exceptional qualtiy.

Harvesting and vinification of this wine were extremely meticulous.

Gathered by hand, exactingly selected and brought to the cellar, the grapes were then fermented in 500-litre oak vats.

After that, malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels. Finally, the wine was aged for 24 months in those same barrels.

A scarce wine, with a production of only 2,500 bottles, Figuero Tinus 2010 was aged for a further 12 months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.

Drink now to 2025+.

Dense, unctuous and powerful. A giant in the making. Mighty acidity, bold tannins and a deep sense of authenticity and terroir. Wondeful balance and extremely long, complex finish.
