Product Description

The wine Fillaboa is a single varietal Albariño, Spain's most important white variety.

It is made from grapes coming from the 70 hectares of vineyards owned by the Bodegas Fillaboa winery on the banks of the Miño river.

This Spanish white wine from Rías Baixas was fermented in stainless steel tanks for over a period of 20 days and then aged on its lees for a short time.

Finally, Fillaboa 2018 was filtered and cold-stabilized before its bottling.

A refreshingly unoaked, yet substantial Albariño wine.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Fillaboa has a clear, very bright yellow-green colour with some steely glints.

This Albariño from Rías Baixas smells of pears, golden apples, pineapple, fennel, aniseed and freshly cut grass.

Light and fresh, this white wine by Bodegas Fillaboa has a delicately unctuous touch and a crisp, refreshing acidity. Notes of bitter almonds, white fruit, a dash of honey and remembrances of bitter herbs. Medium, slightly bitter finish.

Our personal opinion

The wine Fillaboa 2018 will improve in the bottle for some time. However, it is drinking very well right now.
