Product Description

A varietal Albariño Spanish white wine from Rías BaixasFillaboa Selección Monte Alto is produced from grapes coming from a single, 6-hectare vineyard located near the mouth of the Miño river.

Harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed and gently crushed. Then the free-run must was fermented in stainless steel tanks.

After that, this Spanish white wine from the Fillaboa winery was aged on its lees for 12 months with periodic stirrings. After that, Fillaboa Selección Monte Alto 2018 was fined and stabilized before bottling.

The production of this white wine from Rías Baixas totalized 10,000 bottles.

This varietal Albariño is quite complex. Aromas of white fruit, citrus, tropical fruit, lees, dry fruit and white flowers, underpinned by deep mineral notes and suggestions of terroir.

Voluptuous and palate-coating, this wine from Bodega Fillaboa also has a rock-solid structure and a lively character, neither heavy nor flaccid.
