As is usually the case with this difficult variety, the Petit Verdot grapes were harvested fairly late, namely during the first week of October. The wine must was then fermented in stainless steel tanks and macerated for 25 days.
After that, Finca Antigua Petit Verdot 2015 was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
Drink this Spanish red wine until 2021.
This red wine from La Mancha has a dark, purple colour with some cherry-coloured tinges. Finca Antigua Petit Verdot appears clean and bright.
Suggestive and quite personal, this Petit Verdot from La Mancha insinuates some aromas of flowers and herbs, combined with notes of underbrush, Havanna cigars, toast and some lactic remembrances.
Elegant, fresh and well-structured, this varietal Petit Verdot by the Finca Antigua winery has some polished, smooth tannins and a refreshing acidity. Long finish with some remembrances of blackberries and toast.
