This the new vintage of Fuentespina Selección, an old favourite of our customers.

A single varietal Tempranillo, this Spanish red wine is made from over 50-year-old vines belonging to the DO Ribera del Duero.

Crafted by Bodegas Avelino Vegas, this Crianza red wine was traditionally vinified and subsequently aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.

We suggest that you pair Fuentespina Selección 2016 with hearty dishes.

The red wine Fuentespina Selección has a clean, bright, intense cherry colour with some garnet tinges.


This expressive old-vines Tempranillo certainly is a purebred Ribera del Duero. Aromas of blueberries and violets, alongside creamy notes of spices, toast, dry earth and balsam.


Savoury, bold and palate-coating, this wine by Avelino Vegas has nevertheless a graceful passage through the palate. Roasted coffee, black fruit, cocoa, some lactic touches and hints of sweet spices. This crianza red wine has a good acidity, ripe tannins and long finish.
