Red Wine Furvus 2017 Magnum

The Celler Vinyes Domènech winery produced Furvus Magnum from a blend of Hairy Grenache and Merlot. The grapes come from 15 hectares of organically farmed vines with clayey-limestone soils located in the town of Capçanes, in the DO Montsant.
Alcoholic fermentation of this Spanish red wine lasted for 12 days, at a temperature below 29ºC. After that, Furvus 2017 Magnum was aged for 14 months in new and used French and American oak barrels.
We suggest that you aerate the 1.5 litre bottle of this organic red wine from Montsant 1 hour before drinking.
The red wine Furvus Magnum has an intense cherry colour with a violet rim. Visually, this Crianza red wine is very attractive.
Suggestive and expressive, this blend of Hairy Grenache and Merlot smells of raspberries and cranberries, with Mediterranean notes of fennel, rosemary and thyme. This red wine from Montsant has a deep mineral background.
Meaty and palate-coating, this Celler Vinyes Domènech manages to preserve a nice freshness and a crisp acidity all throughout the passage. Yummy fruit, with some toasted and spicy nuances, round tannins and a long finish with some mineral remembrances.
