Known mostly for its red wines, Bodegas Valduero presents the new vintage of García Viadero Albillo, a varietal Spanish white wine entirely made from Albillo, an interesting, lesser-known local white grape from Ribera del Duero.
Coming from a 10-hectare estate located at 900 metres above sea level, planted with young vines under 20 years of age, the grapes were picked by hand and cold-macerated before being pressed.
The fermentation of this white wine from Ribera del Duero lasted two weeks. It was carried out in stainless steel tanks and under a strict temperature control. García Viadero Albillo 2019 was not filtered or stabilized before its bottling.
Production around 32,000 bottles.

| Our personal opinion | Vintage after vintage, this García Viadero Albillo 2019 keeps making a impression on us. Though it is practically unknown to wine lovers, Albillo is a grape to be taken seriously. |
