Known mostly for the red wines, Bodegas Valduero presents the new vintage of the white wine Valduero Blanco - formerly known as García Viadero Albillo - made solely from Albillo, an interesting, little-known local white grape native to Ribera del Duero.
This varietal Spanish white wine is entirely sourced from a 10-hectare estate located at 900 metres above sea level and planted with young vines under 20 years of age, the grapes were picked by hand and cold-macerated before being pressed.
The fermentation of this white wine from Ribera del Duero lasted two weeks, and it was carried out in stainless steel tanks and under a strict temperature control. The white wine Valduero Blanco 2022 was not filtered or stabilized before its bottling.
Limited production. Pair with baked fish and sautéed vegetables.

Very fresh and easy to drink, with a smooth texture and a long, elegantly dry finish with an aftertaste of citrus and fennel. |
| Our personal opinion | Once again, the white wine Valduero Blanco 2022 made quite an impression on us. Though it is practically unknown to wine lovers, Albillo is a grape to be taken seriously. |
