Produced in DO El Bierzo, Godelia Blanco is a blended Spanish white wine defined by its local character.
It is made from 80% Godello and 20% Doña Blanca, coming from vines 30 to 60 years of age, planted in deeply mineral soils at altitudes between 500 and 700 metres above sea level.
Incidentally, Bodegas Godelia is located at a privileged spot near The Way of St. James, followed by pilgrims all over the world on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
After the harvest, the grapes were cold-soaked, gently pressed, drawn off and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, Godelia Blanco 2021 was aged for 5 months on its lees with periodic stirrings.
This is a creamy and fresh white wine from El Bierzo.
