White Wine Goliardo A Telleira 2020
Availability: In stock
This is the new vintage of Goliardo A Telleira, a premium Galician Spanish whtie wine crafted by Raúl Pérez, one of the world's top oenologists, in DO Rías Baixas.
A varietal Albariño produced by bodega Forjas del Salnés, the grapes come from a single vineyard planted more than 40 years ago.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were fermented, and aged in 700-litre vats for 12 months.
After that, Goliardo A Telleira 2020 was aged for 2 months at 30 metres underwater in containers specially designed to keep temperature, humidity and pressure constant.
The result is a remarkable Crianza white wine.
This is one of those exceptional hard-to-find wines. Roughly 600 bottles produced. Grab one while you can!
Aerate this white wine from Rías Baixas 30 minutes before drinking. Pair with Belgian mussels, shrimp and creamy cheeses.

Nose | This varietal Albariño suggests aromas of white fruit and bitter herbs, with remembrances of smoke, white pepper and flowers, and deep mineral and salty undertones. |
Palate | This wine from bodega Forjas del Salnés is gently unctuous, focused and masterly crafted. Wonderful balance between acidity, fruit, the salty character and the tannic structure. Extremely elegant and idiosyncratic. Long, persistent, bitter and salty finish. |
Our personal opinion | The white wine Goliardo A Telleira 2020 is an age-worthy white wine that exudes sophistication and complexity. |
