Product Description
Details

Produced in the heart of the Basque Country by bodega Gorka Izagirre, Gorka Izagirre G22 is a varietal Spanish white wine.

Made solely from Hondarrabi Zuri Zerrate, the grapes were sourced from 2 plots of vines from 2 villages in DO Bizkaiko Txakolina.

Each plot was harvested by hand in October. Then the grapes were gently pressed and separately vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, Gorka Izagirre G22 2019 was aged on lees for some months before bottling.

Following the tradition, this white wine from the Basque Country was not aged in oak in order to keep it fresh and crisp.

Utterly atlantic and extremely versatile, this Txakolí white wine is a great accompaniment to shrimp and white meat. It is also excellent without food.

A not-so-trivial Txakolí. It has bones and some substance, yet it remains fresh.
