Produced by the Gramona winery, Gramona La Cuvee Brut is made from a blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and a droplet of Parellada. This Corpinnat sparkling wine thus follows the classical tradition of Penedès.
Made from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards, once in the cellar the grapes were gently pressed and the three varieties were separately fermented.
Then this Spanish sparkling wine was blended and bottled, after which Gramona La Cuvee Brut 2018 went through secondary fermentation and was aged for 40 months. Total amount of sugar is below 6 grams per litre.
This is an elegant and versatile Corpinnat sparkling wine.
The sparkling wine Gramona La Cuvee Brut is medium yellow with some steely glints.
This blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada smells of white flowers, bone fruit and citrus, with a pinch of dry fruit and aromatic herbs.
Smooth and fresh, this sparkling wine of Gramona has tiny bubbles, a crisp acidity and a citrusy character. Long, delicately bitter finish with a remembrance of flowers and pastry.
