A premium Cava, Gran Juvé y Camps Gran Reserva Brut is made from vines planted in three vineyards located near the village of Espiells, in the heart of Penedès.
Produced from the traditional Cava triad, Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada, the composition of this Spanish sparkling wine is complemented with a droplet of Chardonnay.
The vines grow in a pure Mediterranean terroir composed of clayey-limestone soils. The three estates are located at an altitude under 245 metres above sea level, protected from the cold, northern winds by the Montserrat mountains.
Crafted by the Juvé y Camps winery, Gran Juvé y Camps Gran Reserva Brut 2016 was meticulously vinified following the traditional method. After the completion of secondary fermentation, it was aged for a minimum of 42 months in the bottle.

Nose | Complex stuff. Fresh notes of flowers, hints of white fruit, some well-integrated wooden remembrances and notions of pastry, dry fruit and honey. This blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay is remarkably elegant. |
Palate | Intense and creamy, but not in the least heavy. The wine coats the palate with notes of puff pastry, cooked white and yellow fruit, custard sauce, some toasted notes and a remembrance of citrus. This Cava from Juvé y Camps has some tiny bubbles, very good acidity and a long, delicate finish. |
