This interesting Spanish rosé wine is produced the Casalasierra estate, located in the town of San Martín de Unx, Navarra.
A single varietal Grenache, Guerinda Casalasierra is made solely from the "free-run" juice.
This is the juice that is released not as a result of any direct machine pressing, but as a consequence of the squeeze exerted by the weight of the fruit when the grapes are stacked on top of each other. When the wine must acquired the desired colour, it was separated from the skins only through gravity.
The Spanish designation for the wines crafted in this manner is Sangrado de lágrima.
The vinification of Guerinda Casalasierra 2019, produced by the Máximo Abete winery, was carried out in stainless steel tanks.
The rosé wine Guerinda Casalasierra has a bright rosy colour with a violet rim.
This rosé wine produced by Guerinda smells of red fruit and raspberry jam, with some hints of strawberry yoghourt and remembrances of aromatic herbs.
This wine by the Máximo Abete winery is juicy, with notes of candies, citrus, tropical fruit and herbs. This rosé wine from Navarra has a lively acidity and long, fruity finish.
