This Spanish reserve red wine is produced in Navarra.
Separately harvested, each grape variety was individually vinified in French oak barrels. After that, each wine was separately aged for 14 months in those barrels.
Then this reserve red wine from Navarra was blended and aged for another 12 months.
Finally, this wine of the Máximo Abete winery was bottled and aged for a further 12 months before its commercial release.
Drink Guerinda El Anselmo Reserva 2010 until 2023.
Decant a minimum of 30 minutes before drinking.
The red wine Guerinda El Anselmo has a very bright, medium cherry-coloured robe with a garnet rim.
Savoury aromas of black fruit, combined with notes of underbush, tobacco, leather and mineral. On the background of this reserve red wine by Máximo Abete, we feel some hints of vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate and smoke.
Smooth and bold, this reserve red wine from Navarra has a remarkable complexity. Liquor-infused fruit, aromatic herbs, tobacco, spices, some vegetal notions and touches of charcoal, cocoa, leather and menthol. Excellent acidity, sweet tannins and long, spicy finish.
