Honoro Vera Organic 2018

The winery possesses 120 hectares of vineyards that grow in sandy, stony and limestone soils with extremely low levels of organic matter at an altitude over 700 metres above sea level. Despite its proximity to the Mediterranean sea, climate is Continental, with very little rainfall.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were vinified in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at a temperature of 25ºC. Then Honoro Vega Organic 2018 was kept refrigerated until its bottling.
This is a young, vibrant and, most important, unoaked organic red wine that can be enjoyed over the next 2-3 years.
The red wine Honoro Vera Organic has an intense, medium-high cherry robe with a bright violet rim.
A ravishing expression of pure fruit, this single varietal organic Monastrell from Jumilla brings to mind blueberries, blackberries and violets, dotted with some dim mineral notes and balsamic overtones.
A fruit juice, very honest and pleasing, and with no oak make-up whatsoever. This organic red wine by Juan Gil carries some vibrant flavours of raspeberries and strawberries and some earthy hints. Smooth texture and nice acidity. Long finish with some mineral remembrances.
|Our personal opinion||
The excellent Honoro Vera Organic 2018 from Jumilla lets the Monastrell grapes speak for themselves.
