Sorted from vines located in Alt Penedès, the grapes were picked by hand and meticulously selected. Gently pressed, only the "free-run" juice was used to produce this organic Sparkling wine.
Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. After that, Huguet Brut Nature 2013 was bottled to complete secondary fermentation and an ageing period of no less than 84 months.
No shipping liquor was added to this Corpinnat sparkling wine. The disgorging date is printed on the back label.
The sparkling wine Huguet Brut Nature has a straw yellow colour with some golden tinges.
Very much alive despite being over 8 years old, this Corpinnat sparkler carries some aromas of ripe pears, citrus and aromatic herbs, with some tips of pastry, butter and balsam. This blend of Macabeo, Parellada and Pinot Noir has a subtle balsamic background.
Light and crisp, with palate caressing bubbles and an dry character which makes it very inviting. Remembrances of bone fruit, citrus, bitter herbs and some remembrances of flowers. This sparkling wine of Huguet de Can Feixes has a long, complex finish.

Approachable, mature, and still very much alive, Huguet Brut Nature 2013 is an amazing value.
