Produced by bodega Abadía de Poblet, a brand of Grupo Codorníu, Intramurs Monastir de Poblet Negre is a young Spanish red wine made from vineyards located near the Poblet Monastery, in the southern Catalan region of Conca de Barberà.
Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, the red wine Intramurs Monastir de Poblet Negre 2019 was subsequently aged for 4 months in French oak barrels before bottling.
Gently aged in oak, this wine will pair nicely with rice and pasta recipes.
The red wine Intramurs Monastir de Poblet Negre is medium ruby with a reddish rim.
Aromas of red berries and damson, typical of a blend of Ull de Llebre and Syrah, with subtle spicy notes and a tad of Med herbs.
Smooth and yummy, with flavours of red berries, vanilla and cocoa. This wine of bodega Abadía de Poblet has a medium-long finish with a fruity aftertaste.
