White Wine José Pariente Verdejo 2020
Availability: In stock
The wine is made from estate-owned vineyards, 30 years old on average, and also from old vines owned by local peasants who share the winery's environmentally friendly approach to agriculture and winemaking.
After a 12 hour cold-maceration process and a gentle pneumatic pressing, José Pariente Verdejo 2020 was fermented in stainless steel tanks, oak barrels and concrete diposits, after which it remained in contact with its lees for about 4 months until it was bottled.
This varietal white wine from Rueda is a paradigmatic example of Verdejo, central Spain's most important white variety.
The white wine José Pariente Verdejo presents a bright, straw-yellow colour with a soft green hue.
Defined by its varietal character, this Verdejo is pleasantly intense. Stone fruit and tropical fruit (peach, banana, apricot), with a touch of citrus and some herbal and aniseed notes.
Well rounded and tasty, this white wine of bodega José Pariente has good definition, an excellent acidity, and a lingering finish and a slight bitterness which is typical of the variety.
|Our personal opinion||Savoury and honest, José Pariente Verdejo 2020 is an utterly enjoyable wine.|
