Juan Gil 12 Meses 2014 Magnum
Availability: In stock
This is the new vintage of this Spanish red wine Juan Gil 12 Meses. The wine comes in a Magnum, 1.5-litre bottle.
Soils are composed of sand and limestone, and have very low levels of organic matter.
Produced by the Juan Gil winery, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 20 to 25 days.
The malolactic fermentation and the subsequent, 12-month ageing period took place in French oak barrels.
Juan Gil tinto 12 Meses 2014 Magnum will improve in the bottle for 5-7 years.
We strongly suggest that you decant the wine 1 hour before you drink it.
Juan Gil 12 Meses Magnum has a deep cherry colour with a violet rim.
This Monastrell from Jumilla exhibits some seductive aromas of toast, black fruit, sweet spices, cocoa, tobacco, herbs, balsam and smoke.
This red wine from Jumilla is tense and meaty, with a silky body and an expansive character. Creamy notions of spices and red fruit, alongside remembrances of smoke, blue flowers and dry earth. Lively tannins, very good acidity and long, complex finish.
|Our personal opinion||
