Product Description

A surprising Spanish dry white wine made from Moscatel de Grano Menudo (aka Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains), Juan Gil Blanco is produced in the DO Jumilla

Crafted by the Juan Gil winery, known for its Monastrell wines, this suprisingly sharp white wine comes from vines grown at an altitude over 700 metres above sea level.

Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 30 days, Juan Gil Blanco 2020 was aged for some weeks before its bottling.

This varietal white wine from Jumilla is fresh and fruit-driven.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The white wine Juan Gil Blanco is bright yellow with greenish tinges.

Primary aromas of peaches and apricots, with hints of citrus and pineapple. In the background, this Muscat white wine suggests a note of aromatic herbs and dry earth.

Dry, intense and crisp, this white wine of Bodega Juan Gil is reminiscent of lime, white flowers and bone fruit. Well-balanced and crystalline, with a very good acidity and an lively finish.

Our personal opinion

The dry Muscat Juan Gil Blanco 2020 pairs excellently with rice dishes and seafood.

A nice take on Moscatel. Super dry and edgy, but not austere. Excellent with tapas and shrimp.
