Product Description

A surprising Spanish white wine made from Moscatel de Grano Menudo (aka Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains), Juan Gil Blanco comes from DO Jumilla

Produced by the Juan Gil winery, known for its Monastrell wines, this dry white wine is sourced from vines planted at over 700 metres of altitude.

Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 30 days, Juan Gil Blanco 2021 was aged for some weeks before its bottling.

This varietal white wine from Jumilla is fresh and fruit-driven.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The white wine Juan Gil Blanco is medium yellow with greenish tinges.

Primary aromas of peaches and apricots, with hints of citrus and pineapple. In the background, this Muscat white wine suggests a note of aromatic herbs and dry earth.

This white wine of Bodega Juan Gil suggests lime, white flowers and bone fruit. Well-balanced, crisp and linear, with a very good acidity and a lively finish.

Our personal opinion

An uncommon dry Muscat, Juan Gil Blanco 2021 pairs excellently with rice dishes and seafood.

A nice take on Moscatel. Super dry and edgy, but not austere. Excellent with tapas and shrimp.
