Made from over 50-year-old vines located in the highest area of the region, the grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed and macerated for 25 days in stainless steel tanks.
The wine Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata has a bright cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
This expressive Crianza red wine from Jumilla smells of juicy and jammy red fruit, nuanced by some creamy and spicy remembrances, the result of 12 months in oak. On the background, there is a dash of liquorice, and hints of violets and Mediterranean garrigue.
Nicely crafted, this Monastrell by Juan Gil is utterly Mediterranean and fresh. Wild berries, some earthy notions, tree bark, exotic spices, menthol, and some vegetal remembrances. This wine has a very good acidity, savoury tannins and a long finish.
