Product Description

This in the new vintage of Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata (Silver Label), also known as Juan Gil 12 Meses.

The new vintage of Spanish red wine from Jumilla is a varietal Monastrell. For the first time, the wine is made from organically certified vineyards.

Made from over 50-year-old vines located in the highest area of the region, the grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed and macerated for 25 days in stainless steel tanks.

After that, Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata 2019 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Year after year, red wine from Jumilla of the Juan Gil winery is one of Spain's absolute best values.
Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata is bright cherry with a violet rim.

This expressive Monastrell from Jumilla smells of juicy and jammy red fruit, nuanced by some creamy and spicy remembrances. On the background, there is a dash of liquorice, and hints of violets and Mediterranean garrigue.

Nicely crafted, this wine of bodega Juan Gil is utterly Mediterranean and fresh. Wild berries, some earthy notions, tree bark, exotic spices, menthol, and some vegetal remembrances. This wine has a very good acidity, savoury tannins and a long finish.
