The new vintage of Juvé y Camps Blanc de Noirs Reserva Brut is solely crafted from Pinot Noir grapes coming from a estate located in the town of Espiells, at the very heart of Penedès.
First, the grapes of this Blanc de Noirs were carefully selected and brought to the cellar in little boxes. Then they were vinified avoiding contact between the must and the grape skins in order not to colour the wine. Following the traditional Champenoise method, secondary fermentation took place inside the bottle.
After that, Blanc de Noirs de Juvé y Camps 2016 was aged for 25 months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
We suggest that you pair this Spanish sparkling wine with cured meats or a cheese platter.
The Cava Juvé y Camps Reserva Blanc de Noirs has a very bright, clean, pale golden colour with some reddish and golden tinges.
Intense notes of red apples, cherries, grapefruit rind, medlar and peach. On the background, this Pinot Noir suggests notes of honey, dry fruit and balsam over a citrus layer. Juvé y Camps has produced an aromatically engaging Blanc de Noirs sparkler.
Fresh and creamy, this Cava by Juvé y Camps is reminiscent of red berries and baked apples, nuanced by some notions of pastry and aromatic herbs. Bubbles are well integrated, passage in linear and crisp, and finish is long and persistent.
