White Wine L'Abrunet de Frisach Blanc 2020
Availability: In stock
Interestingly, this young Spanish white wine was made from twice-harvested grapes.
The grapes were first picked when they had reached an alcohol level of 11.5%. They were harvested again when the alcohol percentage was of 14%. Thus, the first batch of grapes brought acidity and freshness to the wine, while the second batch provided body and volume.
Both grape batches were traditionall vinified in stainless steel tanks. L'Abrunet de Frisach Blanc 2020 was not filtered or stabilized before bottling.
This young organic white wine from Terra Alta is as authentic as it gets.
The white wine L'Abrunet de Frisach Blanc is bright yellow with some golden tinges.
Showing a well-defined varietal character, this White Grenache suggests fresh aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, aromatic herbs, aniseed and flowers over a mineral background.
The wine from Celler Frisach is well balanced and tremendously enjoyable, with a great acidity and a delicately bitter character. Citrus, white flowers, herbs and touches of dry earth. Clean, medium finish.
