L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat 2018
Availability: In stock
This peculiar Spanish rosé wine is produced in the western Catalan region of Terra Alta.
The last variety, Grey Grenache, was almost extinct in the region, but thanks to the efforts and hard work of wineries such as Celler Frisach, it has been fortunately recovered.
After the harvest, all of the grapes were put together and the ensemble was macerated with the skins for 24 hours. Then they were gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks using only the "free-run" juice.
Drink L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat 2018 over the next 18 months.
The rosé wine L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat has a bright, clean onion skin colour with some steely tinges.
Rather original, this organic rosé wine from Terra Alta is reminiscent of wild berries, aromatic herbs, orange, tangerine and flowers. On the background, it suggests an original salty note.
This threefold Grenache rosé wine by Celler Frisach is fresh, clear and focused. Juicy remembrances of red fruit and garrigue, some touches of citrus and some floral hints. Pleasant, uplifting finish.
