The young red wine Ladairo Mencía is produced by Bodegas Ladairo, one of DO Monterrei's most representative wineries.
This Spanish red wine is made from Mencía and Araúxa (a.k.a Tempranillo). Both grapes come from vines about 30 years of age.
Harvested by hand and vinified in stainless steel tanks, the grapes of Ladairo Colección de Familia Mencía were gently pressed and macerated for a short period.
Finally, Ladairo Mencía 2022 was only gently filtered before bottling.
Pair this red wine from Monterrei with cold cuts, oily fish recipes and BBQ'd meat.
