Details
Coming from DO Somontano, Laus Chardonnay is an unoaked Spanish white wine produced by bodega Laus.
The grapes are sourced from Chardonnay vineyards with clayey soils situated in Barbastro, Huesca, at roughly 400 metres of altitude, an area with a Mediterranean-Continental climate and low rainfall.
Harvested at dawn, the grapes were first cold macerated on arriving at the cellar. Then the free-run juice was drawn-off before undergoing alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Laus Chardonnay 2021 was stabilized and clarified before its bottling.
This white wine from Somontano will pair well with white meat recipes, tapas and rice dishes.
