The grapes come from low-yielding, precious grapevines aged 50 to over 100 years old, scattered across the regions of Toro and Ribera del Duero.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were selected according to its plot of origin, and each butch was separately fermented in stainless steel tanks for 25 days.
After that, Leda Viñas Viejas 2014 completed malolactic fermentation in 90% French and 10% American oak barrels, and was subsequently aged for 18 months.
Aerate this Reserva red wine some time before drinking.
The red wine Leda Viñas Viejas has a high cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
The wine Leda Viñas Viejas combines exuberance and finesse. Licorice, red and black fruit, with some mineral undertones, a dash of cedar, leather and coffee, some balsamic notes, and remembrances of undergrowth and dry earth.
Powerful and deep, with room for growth. This varietal Tempranillo has a solid structure and a very good acidity. Licorice, mulberries and a toasted note. Extremely long, expansive finish.
