Details
This is the new vintage of Llavors. As usual, this Spanish red wine from L'Empordà is made from a blend of grape varieties.
The 2020 vintage is composed mainly of old-vines Samsó (Carignan), complemented with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
Produced by La Vinyeta, the grapes come from estate-owned vineyards planted in Mollet de Perelada, a town belonging to the province of Girona.
Fermented at a controlled temperature, Llavors 2020 was subsequently aged in French, Hungarian and Romanian oak barrels for over a period of 5 months.
As usual, the label of this red wine from L'Empordà is a reproduction of old local magazines or newspapers.

Great red wine
It's a great wine! I went to the wine gardens in Spain, the people who work there are really passionate about the wine. It can be tasted, lovely full red wine, especially with dinner or just at relax time with some cheese.
