This is the new vintage of Llopart Leopardi, an impeccable Spanish sparkling wine from one of the best producers in Penedès.
The grapes come from estate-owned vineyards located near the town of Subirats, Alt Penedès.
Vinified in a traditional manner, secondary fermentation of Llopart Leopardi 2016 took place inside the bottle. After that, this organic sparkling wine was aged for 60 months prior to its commercial release.
The vintage label of this Corpinnat sparkling wine, which reproduces a design from the year 1887, provides information about the origins and the long winemaking tradition of the Cavas Llopart winery, which dates back to the fourteenth century.
Production around 35,000 bottles.
The sparkling wine Llopart Leopardi is medium straw with golden tinges.
Elegant and complex, this blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada smells of citrus and garrigue, alongside with some creamy aromas, notions of orange rind and white flowers and delicate nuances of withered leaves and dry fruit.
Delicate and well-crafted, this Corpinnat sparkling wine from Cavas Llopart has a wonderfully refined texture, with palate-melting, tiny bubbles. Rich and complex, with fresh touches of lime and lemon, some creamy notions of pastry and hints of orange blossom, white flowers, raw almonds and and aromatic herbs. Great acidity and long, lively finish.
