Details
A blend of Tinta del País (Tempranillo) and Merlot, López Cristobal La Colorada Crianza is produced by Bodegas López Cristóbal from grapes sourced from a single vineyard, Finca La Colorada, in Ribera del Duero.
Carefully selected both on site and in the cellar, the grapes were meticulously vinified. Then this Crianza red wine was aged for 12 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels.
After that, López Cristóbal La Colorada Crianza 2020 was bottled and aged for a further 12 months before being released onto the market.

Here the thrust of Ribera del Duero's Tempranillo is adequately rounded by a brush-stroke of Merlot. The final picture is extremely enjoyable.
