Red Wine Los Arráez Arcos 2018
Availability: In stock
The wine Los Arráez Arcos is uncommon in the most literal sense of the word. Why? Because this Spanish red wine is a varietal Arcos de Miguel. This is an obscure, almost extinct indigenous red variety from the areas of Valencia and Alicante, which is currently being recovered by Bodegas Arráez.
This wine from the DO Valencia was produced from grapevines located at 800 metres of altitude, in the town of La Font de la Figuera.
Meticulously selected, the Arcos grapes were fermented in 9,000 litre French oak varts. After that, Los Arráez Arcos 2018 was aged for 6 months in the vats.
This is an exceedingly interesting Crianza red wine.
The red wine Los Arráez Arcos has a clean, low Bordeaux-coloured robe.
This varietal Arcos de Miguel red wine has an intriguing nose. Wild berries, intertwined with notes of laurel and eucaliptus, Mediterranean herbs, and a dash of black pepper. There is also a dim toasted background.
This red wine of Bodegas Arráez is fresh and yummy. It has a light passage, and a long, uplifting finish. Los Arráez Arcos ends with an earthy note.
