Product Description

One of the best-known wineries in La Rioja, Luis Cañas produces the red wine Luis Cañas Crianza from Tempranillo and Grenache (5%) vineyards with an average age of 30 years.

After a meticulous harvest, the vinification process of this Spanish red wine was carried out in a traditional manner.

First, the grapes were destemmed, crushed and cold-macerated for about 3 weeks. Once alcoholic fermentation was completed, this Crianza red wine was aged for 12 months in 3rd year French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrels.

Finally, Luis Cañas Crianza 2016 was aged for an additional 9 months in the bottle to round its texture.

Unquestionably, this is one of Rioja's great values.

A very fine wine from a very fine producer. Classic Rioja with a lively, gently modern touch.
