Red Wine Luis Cañas Reserva 2013
Reserve red wine from Rioja made from Tempranillo and Graciano, aged for 18 months in oak barrels and for 18 months in bottle.

Destemmed and gently crushed, the grapes of this Spanish red wine were fermented in stainless steel tanks for 21 days.
After that, this red wine from La Rioja was transferred into 2nd year French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrels. There it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 18 months.
Prior to its bottling, Luis Cañas Reserva 2013 from Rioja was delicately filtered and clarified.
Finally, it was further aged for 18 months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
Drink until 2025. Aerate half an hour before drinking.
The red wine Luis Cañas Reserva has a deep cherry coloured robe with some purple tinges.
Red fruit, cocoa and coffee sensations combine with notes of clove, cinnamon and leather. The background of this blend of Tempranillo and Graciano suggests some balsamic, slightly mineral nuances.
Round and well-structured, with juicy tannins, and a large load of fresh ripe red fruit. This reserve red wine by Luis Cañas also presents some subtle lactic notes, as well as suggestions of underbrush, sweet spices and balsam. Long, savoury finish.

Elegant and expressive, Luis Cañas Reserva 2013 pairs well with meat sauce and vegetables. We recommend decanting it gently, so the wine can express all its virtues.
