Product Description

The flagship Spanish white wine of the Pazos de Lusco winery, Lusco is a varietal Albariño from the DO Rías Baixas.

It is made from trellis-trained vines over 25 years of age located at "Pazo Piñeiro", an estate composed of highly acidic, deep soils made of decomposed granite with very low levels of organic matter.

Manually harvested and rapidly brought to the cellar to avoid undesired pre-fermentation, the grapes of this white wine aged on lees were destemmed and macerated uncrushed for 6 hours.

After that, they were pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Finally, Lusco 2019 was aged for 6 months on its lees.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Lusco has a very bright, clean, pale yellow colour with golden tinges and greenish glints.

Strong aromas of ripe white fruit, alongisde some white flowers, citrus and tropical fruit, one of Albariño's trademarks. There is also a noticeable herbal background, with remembrances of menthol and fennel.

Fresh and gulpable, this Rías Baixas white wine is reminiscent of lemon, passion fruit and herbs, enlivened by a flinty remembrance. This wine from Pazos de Lusco has a refreshing acidity and a medium finish with an aftertaste of white fruit and herbs.
