Product Description
Details

The red wine Marqués del Puerto Reserva is produced by bodega Marqués del Puerto from estate vineyards situated in Fuenmayor, La Rioja Alta, DOCa Rioja.

The main variety of this red wine from La Rioja is Tempranillo, complemented with a small percentage of Mazuela (Carignan).

Hand-picked and meticulously sorted, the grapes were fermented under controlled temperature with daily pump-overs.

After completing malolactic fermentation, Marqués del Puerto Reserva 2016 was transferred into American (60%) and French (40%) oak barrels and aged for 18 months.

Once bottled, this reserva red wine was aged for 20 months before being released onto the market.

Pair it with roast recipes, casseroles, aged Manchego cheeses or, if you feel daring, with dark bitter chocolate.
